2009 Allen & Ginter Checklist
2009 Allen & Ginter is live and collectors are raving about it. As usual, there are a few unexpected and unannounced surprises from Topps. The Creatures of Legend, Myth & Terror was an announced subset, but it also included a surprise...relic cards. Granted the relic cards don't really include a piece of relic since the creatures are fictitious, but they are still interesting and humorous cards. The bazooka back mini cards have always been produced in limited quantities, but they are now hand numbered out of 25 for the first time. The "no number" mini cards are also hand numbered out of 50 for the first time. Two initial surprise subsets have popped up so far..."Inventions of the Future" and "Extinct Creatures". Looks like all of the surprise sets have been discovered, it's just those two. They are hard to find though, showing up at a rate of 1 per case or perhaps even longer odds than that.
